Grade 3: Multiplication & Division

Five short lessons, from equal groups to word problems. Each lesson has a worked example, a hands-on activity, and five practice questions. Use counters, coins, or drawings when helpful. This is an introductory unit, not a complete grade 3 curriculum.

Christian connection: sharing fairly

Math helps us count accurately, share responsibly, and solve problems for others. After your multiplication or division practice, ask: How could we use equal groups to share supplies fairly with classmates or neighbors?

Optional Bible connection: Discuss generosity and helping others (2 Corinthians 9:7). This reflection complements the mathematics—it does not change the correct answers or learning goals.
